Terms and Conditions

These Terms govern access to Neighborhood Disruptors (“ND”) websites, memberships, marketplaces, shops, community features, listings, bookings and related services.

Marketplace role

ND provides technology, discovery, publishing, communication and transaction tools. Unless ND is expressly identified as the seller or provider, marketplace providers are independent businesses responsible for their offerings, licenses, permits, insurance, taxes, safety, quality, availability and legal compliance. ND is not their employer, agent, joint venturer or insurer.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter a contract, provide accurate information, protect your credentials and promptly report unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Compliance with state and local law

Every user, seller, vendor, host, curator, delivery provider and customer must follow all federal, state, tribal, county and municipal laws that apply to the user, the offering and every location where it is advertised, sold, transported or performed. An activity being lawful in one jurisdiction does not authorize it in another. Providers must verify all required licenses, permits, inspections, age restrictions, zoning, insurance, food-safety, alcohol, transportation, professional-service and tax requirements before listing or accepting a transaction.

Prohibited and illegal activity

ND may reject, remove, suspend, restrict, preserve evidence concerning or report any activity that is unlawful, unsafe, fraudulent or inconsistent with these Terms. Prohibited activity includes:

• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia or unlawful cannabis-related activity.
• Weapons, explosives, ammunition or dangerous materials offered or transported contrary to law or platform rules.
• Human trafficking, sexual exploitation, prostitution, child exploitation, forced labor or services that facilitate abuse.
• Stolen property, counterfeit goods, infringement, deceptive listings, identity theft, fraud, money laundering or evasion of taxes, sanctions or platform fees.
• Illegal gambling, unlicensed raffles, pyramid schemes or prohibited financial products.
• Unlicensed professional, construction, transportation, lodging, food, alcohol, childcare, health, beauty or other regulated services.
• Discrimination, threats, harassment, hate activity, violence, unsafe conduct or invasion of privacy.
• Transporting unlawful cargo or knowingly using delivery services to conceal the nature, origin or destination of goods.

Users may not ask ND or another participant to help avoid legal requirements. ND may cooperate with lawful requests from regulators and law enforcement.

Listings, bookings and purchases

Listings must accurately describe the offering, seller or provider, price, availability, restrictions, risks and material terms. Orders and bookings are subject to availability, acceptance and the policy disclosed before payment.

Payments, taxes and refunds

Payments may be processed by Secure Checkout or another payment provider under its own terms. Users authorize applicable charges, taxes and disclosed fees. Refunds, returns, cancellations, deposits, rescheduling and no-shows are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy and any more specific lawful policy shown before purchase.

Memberships

Membership price, renewal interval and benefits are shown at enrollment. Members may cancel future renewal through the available account or support process. Access continues through the paid term unless suspended for cause. Current-term fees are not prorated except where required by law or expressly stated.

Content and reviews

You retain ownership of submitted content and grant ND a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce and promote it for operating and marketing ND. Content must be truthful, lawful and authorized. Fake, purchased, coercive or misleading reviews are prohibited; honest opinions remain permitted.

Intellectual property

ND branding, design and original content are protected by applicable law. No license is granted except the limited right to use the services under these Terms.

Safety and assumption of risk

Users must evaluate listings, providers, locations, equipment and activities for themselves. Experiences, travel, delivery, property access and in-person services may involve risk. Nothing in these Terms waives rights or duties that cannot legally be waived.

Disclaimers and limitation

ND is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ND disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for provider conduct, user content, off-platform dealings, indirect damages or losses beyond amounts paid to ND for the relevant service during the prior twelve months. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Suspension and termination

ND may remove content, cancel access or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, create safety or legal risk, misuse payments, generate excessive disputes or threaten the platform or community.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by applicable United States and Michigan law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in another jurisdiction. ND may update these Terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date. Questions may be submitted through the Contact page.
